Created as FearWerx’s tribute to the beloved zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead, the Winchester Pub Shirt is designed to look like authentic apparel from a well-established neighborhood English pub. Its deep forest green fabric and rich tan print give it a handsome, understated appearance that works even if nobody else realizes the world is ending.
A tasteful Winchester logo appears over the front chest area. The back carries the film’s immortal survival strategy: “Have a nice cold pint and wait for all of this to blow over.”
This became FearWerx’s most popular direct tribute design because it embodies one of our favorite approaches to fan apparel: from across the room, it simply looks like a great old pub shirt. Only the people who know the reference understand what it really means.
