FearWerx Zombie Hunter Olive T-Shirt
SHOOT ’EM IN THE HEAD AND THEY’LL STAY DEAD.
SLAY-BOR DAY LAUNCH SPECIAL: $24.99 (reg. $28.99)
Before zombies conquered popular culture, FearWerx was already preparing for the outbreak.
The original Zombie Hunter shirt was the first T-shirt ever created for the FearWerx brand—and it quickly became the label’s most popular design. Inspired by the defiant visual language of a Vietnam-era special-forces patch, the artwork transforms its skull, crossed weapons and military insignia into the emblem of an imaginary corps of professional zombie hunters.
FearWerx replaced the patch’s infamous slogan with a survival rule every horror fan knows: “Shoot ’em in the head and they’ll stay dead.”
Created before zombie-hunter imagery became commonplace, this convention-era favorite helped establish FearWerx as an original voice in horror apparel. The design even reached national television when it was worn by a character on an episode of NBC’s 30 Rock—the first appearance of Monster Channel co-founder Joe Sena’s non–Star Trek artwork on television.
Now revived through The Monster Channel Store, the original Zombie Hunter returns in its classic olive green: part horror history, part survival gear and still ready for the next outbreak.

FROM THE FEARWERX ARCHIVES FearWerx began at New Jersey’s Monster-Mania convention, where its original horror designs developed a devoted following before horror apparel became a mainstream category. The FearWerx-sponsored 100 Years of Monster Movies campaign eventually inspired a three-day online horror marathon watched by approximately 30,000 unique viewers—and from that experiment, The Monster Channel was born. |
