The Monster Channel “Yep, That’s Real” Glow-in-the-Dark T-Shirt
YOU’RE WATCHING THE MONSTER CHANNEL. YEP, THAT’S REAL.
SLAY-BOR DAY LAUNCH SPECIAL: $24.99 (reg. $28.99)
On May 9, 2026, The Monster Channel unexpectedly made its debut on Saturday Night Live.
Late that evening, Monster Channel programmer Evan Davis—better known as Halloween Jack—called to report that viewers were flooding the website chat claiming they had just seen the channel on SNL. We didn’t believe them either.
But there it was, at the opening of the episode’s “Godzilla Movie” sketch starring Matt Damon: The Monster Channel logo in brilliant fluorescent green, accompanied by the announcement, “You’re watching the Monster Channel. Yep, that’s real.”
We hadn’t asked for it. We didn’t know it was coming. To this day, the identity of our mysterious benefactor inside SNL remains unknown. But we remain eternally grateful to whoever recognized the channel, understood that we would appreciate the joke and gave us the largest single surge in viewership and social-media attention in Monster Channel history.
Apparently, enough viewers—and several of our own horror hosts—wanted the moment on a shirt. By popular demand, here it is.
The front faithfully reproduces the brilliant fluorescent-green Monster Channel logo and the now-immortal phrase “Yep, that’s real.” And because this is The Monster Channel, we improved upon television by making the green artwork glow in the dark.
Printed beneath the back collar are our website, our original slogan—“Turn it on. Leave it on.”—and a scannable QR code that takes you directly to the channel.
A strange little television moment became part of Monster Channel history. Now you can wear the evidence.
